Part 1: INTRO (Essentials For Brewing a Great Cup of Coffee)

One thing that is near and dear to the heart of our company is, we don't want to simply sell you a bag of coffee and leave the rest for you to figure out. We believe it's our responsibility to be transparent and honest about what it will take to get the most out of your bag of coffee you just purchased (Thank you!).

We want to preface this section by saying we totally understand that it's not a priority for everyone to spend the time, money, and energy to brew great coffee. We totally get that and respect that. If that's you, we will always have some solid options that will fit nicely into that category of "I want solid coffee, but I don't want to spend anymore than I need to on it".

OR, maybe you do have the time and energy but would rather not purchase high end coffee because, let's face it, great coffee isn't cheap. Again, we will always have some options so that you can have something that you look forward to drinking, but is sustainable for your budget. With that said, we want to be honest and say, this coffee is going to be a solid cup, but not an amazing cup. Which is totally fine!

Now, to the person, that wants to maximize the potential in your bag of beans, let's talk about what you need!

Take a deep breath, it may seem complicated, but it's really not. Once you have the goods, brewing good coffee is pretty straightforward. Without further ado, here is my list of Essentials to Brewing a Great Cup of Coffee.

1. A good burr grinder.

2. Water with specific mineral levels in it.

3. Great coffee (obviously).

4. Proper brewing equipment.

5. A recipe.

Follow along with this series as we break down each of these important components!
