We are bringing back El Encanto! We had this coffee on our menu back in early 2024, and we selected it again, this spring, in a blind cupping. We just can't get away from it.
Even though it's the same coffee, the fun part is that the taste profile will vary each year. For example, in this year's version, we kept tasting "pink starbursts" when we were in the selection process. We didn't know what it was because it was such an original flavor to us. When we flipped the cups over to reveal the coffees we were surprised to see it was El Encanto!
More About This Coffee
This coffee was sourced and sent to us from our friends at La Reb. La Reb is a co-op of 60+ farms based in Colombia that produces, exports, and imports their own coffee to the U.S. It's very rare for the farmer/producer to have their hand in the entire supply chain like this, but as beneficiaries, we are grateful they do!
Spearheaded Herbert Peneloza, La Reb is super dedicated to producing and exporting awesome coffee. They are meticulous about their craft and are well known throughout the world for the quality of their coffee.
