Last year, we started a tradition of selecting an extra special coffee to be our annual RED LABEL Christmas Morning Coffee. Our thought was, Christmas morning is SPECIAL, why not commemorate it with an extra SPECIAL coffee.
This year's RED LABEL is called Geisha #2 from Fabio Caballero. Fabio comes from a remarkable lineage of Honduran coffee producers. Long before Fabio’s own rise, his grandfather, Don Caballero, earned international recognition with a Cup of Excellence winning coffee, setting a standard of excellence that has shaped generations. Fabio represents the continuation of that legacy bringing deep respect for tradition together with a modern, meticulous approach to quality.
Offered here is a sister lot to Fabio’s own 2025 Cup of Excellence winning Geisha! In the cup, you’ll find ripe blackberry, delicate florals, and a juicy, elegant sweetness.
I'm always nervous when the RED LABEL coffee arrives each year, to see if it will meet the standard. As I drank the first roasted sample last weekend, I told my wife "This is the best cup I've drank all year". We hope you agree.
