We're excited to bring back the Hafi! This is an intensely fruity coffee which makes for a fun cup to drink. If you are an iced coffee drinker this summer, this coffee will do really well iced. In the cup, you'll find a coffee that is very grape forward with medium to low acidity. We're really enjoying this in the roastery and we think you'll enjoy it as well!
More About The Coffee
Hailing from one of the most remote parts of Burundi (6 hour drive from the capital), is the Muyinga province. Prior to the building of the new washing station, farmers faced a 20 km journey to process their coffee at the nearest washing station. This was too far of a journey to complete in one day, so coffee quality suffered due to lag time. With new infrastructure positioned close by, this region is producing awesome coffee and we are excited to showcase it!
