We're excited to release this natural processed micro-lot coffee, purchased through JNP, whom we also purchased our washed Incuti through. In the cup, you'll find a coffee that is sweet like honey with subtle citrus notes, and low to medium acidity. We're really enjoying this in the roastery and we think you'll enjoy it as well!
More About The Coffee
Hailing from one of the most remote parts of Burundi (6 hour drive from the capital), is the Muyinga province. Prior to the building of the new washing station, farmers faced a 20 km journey to process their coffee at the nearest washing station. This was too far of a journey to complete in one day, so coffee quality suffered due to lag time. With new infrastructure positioned close by, this region is producing awesome coffee and we are excited to showcase it!
